The Latitude Dressage Saddle with Heritage Freedom Shoulder Relief Panels for Horses with Large Shoulders and Big Movement

• Tree: Usually round cantle and Deep (Dressage Style) or Medium (GP Style). U shaped, A shaped trees etc are all available and all options will be discussed with the customer to decide the best option for rider and horse. We know and understand the best tree the for horses and will will guide you all along the way when ordering a bespoke saddle. Unlike many makers we don’t simply use a generic tree, each tree is chosen for each saddle custom build. The width of the twist of the tree is also something the customer chooses, to suit their own needs.
• The Velcro thigh roll, in photo, is an option. No extra cost. If this isn’t something you want/need, it will be made without.
• Knee block sizes are chosen for the rider, hand made and specifically created for each  saddle build and rider.
• Round or Square Cantle tree.
• Stirrup Bars: GP or Dressage, and adjustable Wellep stirrup bars are an additional £125
• Girth strap arrangements: Long dressage style “Y” system or the more traditional 3 and 4 strap arrangement.
• Suede is an option, we can discuss cost and options.
• Leather colours: Black and dark Havana, with a choice of Blue, Silver, Gold, Black, Brown, Caramel or White piping in the seat and rear of cantle.
• Buffalo or Memel print leather options, in flaps and skirts (£125).
• Choice of different head nails (makers button).
• Flap length and cut.. flap can be cut a little forward of straight, for those riders who like to ride a little shorter in the stirrups. The flap floats above the Cutaway Freedom Panel, so a more forward flap interferes in no way with the horse’s shoulders.
• Gullet channel width is always wide, to keep the horse’s spine healthy and unhindered by the panel, allowing the horse to swing and gain true potential.
• Deep, dropped panels a must, to give more weight bearing surface, keeping your horses back free and healthy.

Each bespoke order will be made for each horse’s specific conformation, and for the horse and the rider’s needs. Nothing is generic here; we choose the correct trees, then cut and flock each panel for the individual horse’s back shape and specific needs.

We “drop” the panels in our saddles, meaning the panel is wider, increasing the weight bearing area to distribute the rider’s weight perfectly, over the whole of your horse’s back. They are flocked with English Lambswool allowing the panels to be altered if or when necessary .

Trees: 100% English, lightweight, laminated Beechwood with a steel headplate that is adjustable, by us ,or any trusted saddlery. With these trees we can alter to keep up with your horse when they develop, grow and change in width/shape.
